Philip Green awarded Honorary Fellowship

Former Chief Executive of United Utilities, Philip Green, received an Honorary Fellowship while delivering one of the University’s popular Roscoe lectures.

During the lecture entitled ‘Leadership, Philanthropy & Business,’ Philip was awarded the Honorary Fellowship for services to business, education and philanthropy.

Philip has had an association with the University for many years and was one of the founding members of LJMU's World of Work Board. During his lecture he spoke about the need for a strong social agenda and for every person to recognise their individual social responsibility.
