Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) Unit
Welcome to the KTP Unit
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships have become one of the UK's premier programme for transferring technology, skills and know-how from universities to industry. They are Government funded and enable businesses to benefit from the expertise available in the 'Knowledge Base' - Universities.
There is expertise in the UK's Universities and Colleges that can be of value to businesses in developing new products, services and processes. Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are thus designed to help companies access this expertise.
Over the last five years, the KTP Unit at Liverpool John Moores University has successfully managed 23 KTP programmes with companies throughout the North West. A high proportion of these programmes have been graded 'excellent' by the DTI. If your company is interested in being involved with a KTP programme please contact Amanda St John on Phone: +44 (0)151 231 3452 or eMail: A.N.St.John@ljmu.ac.uk.
