Informaiton regarding available room resources and timetables for below teaching rooms.

All Faculty based IT teaching rooms are up-to-date, air condition facilities with networked PC's and dataprojection.

*This room is set-up for teaching a tutorial group of 40 students or 4 groups of 10 students working independantly.

1 PC - Tutors PC is a 50 inch "Interactive" screen with  image broadcasting capability and laptop input.
4 PC's  - 1 PC per student group of 10 students per workbench.

This is an up-to-date teaching facility that has been developed to support group teaching. Facilitated by the use of the latest share sharing technology that allows the tutor to organise their teaching sessions to suit their group/s learning needs. For example, a class of 40 students are able to actively paticipate with the tutor and their fellow cohort of students by sharing and annotating on screen information directly broadcast form their tutors interactive digital board. Students may work independently of each other utilising the technology installed on each bench. They are able to access the student LJMU network applications and to share information broadcast between each desk.

How to book an IT teaching room

If you would like to book a room for teaching purposes. Either contact your designated school time-table officer or a central timetabling officer Ext 3477 or 5083

Each room has a designated 'Tutor only' machine attached to an on-demand data projection.
All PC's are connected to the LJMU computer users network with access to Microsoft Office and LJMU subject software applications.

JMU Wireless is available in all the above rooms
