Requests for support from the General Assistants re: room layouts, moving of equipment etc should in the first instance be directed to Infrastructure Services Help Desk (5533) by raising a maintenance request; forms available here.
Weekend opening is not encouraged but in exceptional circumstances should be booked through Infrastructure Services Helpdesk, please note that there are cost implications for opening the building and an appropriate budget code and authority from the budget holder must be given at the time of requesting the building to be opened.
All requests regarding maintenance or heating should be reported to the Infrastructure Services Helpdesk Ext. 5533.
Reception is open between the hours of 8.00 am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday. If visitors are expected on site, staff on reception must be provided with clear instructions as to where the visitors should be directed. Telephone answer phones and e-mail out of office messages should not direct enquires to reception as a point of contact. General enquiries should be directed to the PA for Academic Management and programme specific queries should be directed to Admissions & Marketing Unit for prospective students or Student Zone for existing students. Individual members of staff do not have PA support, therefore messages of a personal nature must be dealt with by individuals and not forwarded to these points of contact. Staff should, where possible, avoid forwarding messages unnecessarily.
Visitors’ parking is only available at Holmefield car park and can be booked through ECL-Team2. University permit holders can park in Barkhill car park.
