CERES

The Centre for Educational Research and Evaluation Services (CERES) undertakes a wide range of research covering all sectors of education, including primary, secondary, FE, HE, Sports Education, School Leadership and Management, Information Technology, and alternative or informal learning in a range of professional areas.
There is an established focus on research into Teacher Education of all kinds, and an interest in cultural pedagogy in relation to tourism and health. It has a developing interest in anti-discriminatory research, concerning inclusion, deprivation, drugs, ageism, gender and poverty.
CERES has a growing national and international reputation for excellent standards of inquiry, analysis and reporting, and is formally linked via a 2009 Memorandum of Understanding with the International Institute of Qualitative Inquiry at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign).
