Attendance Policy
Attendance Standards
- Members of the Board of Governors are normally expected to attend at least a majority of main board meetings in a given academic year. On current practice this would represent 3 out of 4 (75%) of the scheduled meetings.
- Members who sit on Committees would normally be expected to attend, on average, at least 65% of meetings over an academic year.
- Failure to attend 2 consecutive Board or Committee meetings may be considered as below standard attendance (please refer to section 5 of the policy.
- Members will normally be expected to ensure that they arrive promptly for meetings and stay for the full anticipated duration of every meeting.
