At JMU I lead the Families & Intimate Relationships and Sociological Theory modules, and contribute to a number of other modules including Identities, Power & Inequalities, Sociological Research Methods, Cultural Studies & Consumption and Qualitative Research Methods.

Administratively I am Level 5 Tutor, Learning and Teaching Representative for Sociology and Erasmus Coordinator, which involves arranging exchanges for students to our partner universities in Europe, which currently include institutions in Den Hague, Innsbruck and Prague
