Medical Sciences and Therapeutics

Combining expertise in health sciences, computing and mathematics, engineering and technology, this research network shows the value of applying non-traditional disciplines to health-related topics.

Toxicological research, for example, assists the clinical and forensic community to identify side-products and impurities occurring during the synthesis of illegal 'designer' drugs. While materials science is informing the design, synthesis and analysis of polymers as well as the formulation of materials for 'in vivo' delivery.
