Computing announcement
JMU Tower computer room shutdown Friday 3rd September

Planning and Information will move all of the centralised I.T. equipment into a new computer room over the first weekend in September. The majority of services will continue to be available as normal during the move.
However the following systems will be unavailable for periods between 5pm on Friday 3rd September and 8am on Monday 6th September:
• Staff InfoBase
• Some Library services - Aleph, Metalib, SFX, Athens (Electronic Journals)
• Some subject software
• Campus Solutions
• Some Email Services (Users whose email server is in JMU Tower - (Exch5,Exch7))
There may also be a delay to Email messages coming into and going out of the University.
Planning and Information apologise for any inconvenience that the work may cause.
