Here at Lairdside we offer companies an Away Day with a difference. The day is structured to suit you and is generally organised with the important meeting part of the day throughout the morning. In the afternoon delegates are split into groups and are given challenging exercises on the ship simulator.
Lairdside Maritime Centre's state of the art simulator facilities provides an exciting and innovative Team Building activity, designed to powerfully illustrate the importance of strong teams, and a strong culture. Challenging, yet safe, this training can make individuals more willing to accept responsibility, show initiative, and think creatively. What's more it can be delivered for the entire company, specific business units or for any project team or group within an organisation.
This state-of-the-art facility has already enabled hundreds of marine pilots, ships' masters and senior navigating officers and shore based managers to develop and practise their skills in a realistic, risk free environment.
