Bridge Team Management
This MCA approved course is aimed at Masters and Mates seeking to enhance their skills in Effective Bridge Team Management procedures. The course comprises management methods and effective communication, passage planning, safe navigational procedures and risk awareness, operations in restricted / pilotage waters and search and rescue techniques.
The simulation exercises can be tailored to a Company's specific requirements incorporating Company policies and procedures along with vessel characteristics and voyage details.
Duration: 5 days
Standard: STCW95 A-VIII/2
Entry Requirements: Delegates should hold a minimum of Officer of the Watch (deck) certification
Issue of a certificate: There is no formal examination but delegate’s performance and understanding is continuously monitored throughout the course leading to a final written assessment.
