Personal Survival Techniques (PST)

This MCA approved course meets the requirements of STCW’95 Convention and is mandatory for all seafaring personnel. The course covers basic survival principles and techniques, practical use of liferafts and what to do in an emergency. The course is a component of the Basic Safety Training.

Duration: 1 day

Standard: STCW95 A-VI/1; IMO 1.19

Entry requirements: There are no entry requirements

Issue of certificate: There is no formal examination though delegate's performance will be assessed throughout the course.
