Cinema Club at the Business School
12 October 2009
Liverpool Business School was delighted to welcome Argentinian director, Gastón Biraben, to LJMU this week for the UK premiere of his award-winning film “Cautiva”.
The film was being shown as part of the Instituto Cervantes “Cine en Construcción” series of independent films from Latin America.
At the end of the film, an enthusiastic audience was treated to a 30-minute Q&A session with the director.
Liverpool Business School has hosted the Cinema Club for several years. Each week a different film is screened in its original language, e.g. Spanish, French or Chinese, with English subtitles. Cinema Club evenings are open to everyone – the more the merrier!
If you would like to join us one evening visit http://www.ljmu.ac.uk/LBS/92142.htm where you will find further details and the current film schedule.
