Cycle to Work scheme

As part of the University’s commitment to support green travel initiatives, the University has teamed up with Cyclescheme Ltd.

Cyclescheme are the number one provider of tax-free bikes for the Government's Cycle to Work initiative.  Utilising the initiative employees can make savings between 30% and 50% depending on your personal tax band. 

The initiaive will be launched in the University on 8 February - please refer to the Human Resources website to apply on or after this date.

Cycling Training

The University has also arranged adult cycling training and maintenance sessions with Cycling Solutions.  These are available on a one-to-one or group basis and are tailored to meet individual requirements.

They are free to all LJMU staff and are available on a first come first served basis.
