The Higher Education environment is experiencing continual change, which impacts on the strategic direction and mission of Universities. I have served the University in cross-Faculty roles and now offer my nomination to contribute at institutional level on the Board of Governors. As a long-standing academic I have an appreciation of the experience of students and staff in teaching and research. If elected, I shall convey my views in line with that experience and with the accepted principles of public duty.
