Employment opportunity: become a student advocate
27 September 2011
Are you a current student at LJMU and interested in sharing your knowledge and experience of university to help motivate and aspire other young people to enter higher education?
LJMU is planning to appoint 35 Student Advocates to play an essential role in the student recruitment and widening access programmes. You must have the enthusiasm to work with young people (aged 11-18 years) and have a confident, friendly and approachable disposition.
All of our Student Advocates will also be expected to promote and demonstrate a commitment to LJMU’s World of Work programme. We are keen to ensure that our Student Advocates are representative of the student body at LJMU and therefore welcome applications from all sectors of the community, including mature students, care leavers, disabled students and students from black and minority ethnic backgrounds.
So what's stopping you? If you want to earn some money whilst you study and gain some real work experience, get the job description and application form at the job vacancy page here
