Careers provision for final year students: World of Work Boot Camp

Did you know that final year students may receive direction and support at the World of Work Careers Centre (formerly the Graduate Development Centre) as they come to the end of their time at LJMU and enter the workplace?
The World of Work Careers Centre is running a series of one day World of Work Skills Boot Camps during April, May and June to bring students up to speed with the jobs market and to achieve the employer-backed World of Work Skills Certificate.
During the sessions students will learn how to articulate their strengths and weaknesses, understand the types of company they should target, be taught key principals of project management and develop a personal statement that will make writing CVs and application forms much easier.
Dates: 11 April, 9 May, 10 May, 14 May, 15 May, 21 May, 25 May, 30 May, 31 May, 7 May, 8 May, 12 June, 14 June
Time: all sessions run from 9.30am to 4.30pm
