Unique Career Opportunity for LJMU Students
Are you interested in a career in the Civil Service or Public Sector?
A unique opportunity has arisen for LJMU students. The World of Work Careers Centre is looking for final year/postgraduate students who would like to benefit from one-to-one feedback from Public Sector professionals.
Students will be given the opportunity to take part in a public sector-style assessment centre, be observed throughout and receive detailed personal feedback. The aim of the experience is to help students improve their performance so that they feel more confident when progressing through the recruitment process especially in the Public Sector for real.
Assessment Centres are a common element of the graduate recruitment process for larger organisations. They are usually an all-day event during which candidates are tested to see how they perform in different situations and activities. This assessment centre, will be designed and delivered by the Civil Service and will give you a chance to test your skills in a training environment and give you an insight into the type of exercises and tasks expected when attending one in the future. You will also receive feedback on your performance and how you can improve.
The assessment centre will be taking place on Tuesday 29 May at North London Business Park, N11, London. Transport to and from the venue will be provided.
Numbers are limited. If you would like to take part please email: V.A.Farrall@ljmu.ac.uk
