Are you returning to study in 2012? Don’t forget your student finances

If you returning to study in 2012 you need to reapply for your 2012 student finances now. 

The Student Advice Team is encouraging as many students as possible to apply for their 2012 funding. Students that do not apply now will not be guaranteed their money for the start of the academic year which may cause problems with accommodation or travel costs in September.

To apply for your student finance log on to www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance

It is important to quote the correct fee when applying for your student funding.  For continuing full time, undergraduate students (not international students) the tuition fee in 2012 is £3,465. If you are on placement for the whole year your fee is £680.
