World of Work Programme Case Study in demand

27 June 2012

The World of Work Careers Centre has recently provided case study material for the Wilson Review of Industry-University Partnerships, The University Alliance of the 23 most business engaged UK universities, and COGENT the Sector Skills Council for the Science Based Industries.

LJMU is the first university featured as an example of an innovative employability model in the Wilson Report and shows the strength of the World of Work Programme as it continues to generate high profile interest four years after its launch.

Terry Dray, Director of Graduate Advancement and Employer Engagement said:

"The World of Work Programme is now firmly established as amongst the best examples of how to strategically approach employability in universities. Our employer partnership approach to employability and career development at LJMU is still very much at the leading-edge. We are happy to share our successful experiences which can only be positive for our external relationships and reputation."
