Academic Board Elections - update

Vacancies still remaining on Academic Board - call for nominations extended.
Further to the call for nominations which has been sent to all staff via email, and also featured on the announcements section of the staff website, we are now extending the deadline until 12 noon on Friday 6 February, to encourage further interest in specific categories.
The Academic Board elections have been successful in various categories and appointments have been made. But the following categories are still outstanding:
- Three vacancies for Professors for the Professoriat
- Four vacancies for Directors for the Senior Management Forum
- One vacancy for a member of academic staff within the Faculty of Education, Community & Leisure
- One vacancy for a member of academic staff within the Faculty of Business and Law
- One vacancy for a member of academic staff within the Faculty of Technology and Environment

Nominations must be signed by the nominee and be supported by two members of staff who can be full or part-time, from the appropriate category.
The categories where sufficient nominations have been received are:
- Non Teaching
- Faculty of Science
- Faculty of Media, Arts and Social Science
- Faculty of Health and Applied Social Sciences
These categories are therefore closed and no further nominations forms will be accepted.
