Change of corporate font
11 February 2009
Arial is the new corporate font and should be used on all internally produced and printed materials.
As previously advised, Arial is now LJMU's corporate font for documents produced internally and printed on LJMU internal printers. It is important for staff to note this change as all printers are moving over to the 'tap and print' system and the old font, Univers, is not compatible with this system.
Arial is a commonly used font and this change will help to avoid conversion problems that have been encountered when using Univers in printed documents and email attachments.
Professionally designed material printed by external printers will continue to use Univers and GillSans.
The corporate design guidelines have been updated to reflect this change. Please click here to access the guidelines.
