Commercial projects meeting

Graduate Development Centre, Wednesday 4 March at 1pm.
The Brokerage Team have arranged for Track Dinning, the Business Development Manager for the Faculty of Community, Education and Leisure, to talk about commercial projects such as JMUpstart, which are led by and employ students. JMUpStart is an undergraduate dance company that has been established to support Level 3 work-based learning. The formula used to set up JMUpstart has been transferred to three other projects within ECL, and we can envisage the formula working in a number of areas around the University. Track will be talking about the processes for setting up the company.
There is CETL funding available to help schools set up similar ventures, and Liz Clifford from LDU will be coming along to talk about this.
