Recycle printer and toner cartridges to benefit charities.
The University encourages all staff to recycle used printer and toner cartridges. You may request bags and boxes for recycling cartridges by emailing a.thomas@ljmu.ac.uk For every cartridge recycled a donation is made to charity – the charities that have been chosen by the University are the Roy Castle Appeal, SCOPE and the Linda McCartney Centre. If your department would like donations to go to an alternative charity, this can be arranged.
Our recent recycling efforts have yielded £43 which will go to the Linda McCartney Centre.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to contribute towards this. With more involvement from staff the amount of our donation could be significantly increased.
