LSU weekend trip to London

05 March 2009

Liverpool Students' Union is coordinating this Give it a Go trip.

London has so much to see and do, featuring the longest shopping street in the UK, the largest array of theatres and some of the most iconic architecture in the country.

The weekend plan

We will arrive in London late Friday night. The bar will still be open or if you prefer to relax feel free to use the chillout room.

Saturday is your day to spend how you please. We don’t provide an organised tour as there is so much to see and do in London it would be difficult to meet everyone’s interests. The hostel has 24 hour staff at reception who will be happy to recommend places of interest plus the hostel will provide tones of tourist information leaflets.

We will be staying at the St Christopher’s Village Hostel - named London’s best budget accommodation 2008. Please take a look at the independent reviews on the link below to see why this is our first choice of hostel.

You will only be sharing rooms with students travelling on our trip and we will do our level best to make sure you are sharing a room with all your friends. Dormitories are mixed but on request same-gender dorms can be accommodated. This is a hostel that advertises itself as a party hostel but on request I will do my best to allocate you a room furthest from the ground floor if you prefer to get an early nights sleep.

The easiest way to get around London is on the Tube. You just buy a day ride ticket and off you go.

Richard Walker, LSU Activities Coordinator will be joining you on the trip and will be contactable by mobile any time of the day.
