Adult Learners Week is a national campaign, running this year from 19 to 24 May. LJMU is supporting an Adult Learner's event in the World Museum on 24 May by providing all the promotion.
It is an informal day and is open to all, whether you wish to find a new hobby, increase your skills and knowledge, improve your employability or just simply meet new people.
The event is put on once a year and is organised by Liverpool's Adult Learners Forum. The Forum consists of organisations across Merseyside that offer learning opportunities. The organisations are made up of universities, colleges, Liverpool Adult Learning Service, community and Third Sector Organisations.
The organisations involved offer learning opportunities, from fun short courses to formal qualifications - and actively support a diverse rang of disabled learners.
