It Ain’t Ovary Yet exhibition

LJMU's Sociology and Staff Volunteering departments are staging an exhibition, 'It Ain’t Ovary Yet: Sustaining Women’s Activism in Merseyside!', at FACT Gallery One, 2 May from 10am - 3pm.
The exhibition will feature women's art and local research projects, with everything from making gingerbread women, painting gender and challenging rape myths. The cast of 'That Takes Ovaries' will also be available to run workshops and give a sneak peek at the play that took Liverpool by storm.
There will be one-off off events throughout the day, including:
11am: Victoria Canning (LJMU, RASA, IWDM) - Making Women's Activism Matter
12.15pm: That Takes Ovaries! Monologue - Trafficked for Sex
12.25pm: That Takes Ovaries! Workshop (one hour)
13.15pm: Jo Woods (RASA Director, Rape Crisis UK) Rape and Sexual Violence in Merseyside: what do RASA do, what needs to be done?
14.15pm: That Takes Ovaries! Monologue - The Tank Top!
The exhibition is free and all are welcome to attend.
