Swine flu advice

Information for staff.
This week the Government is issuing this leaflet to every household in the UK with specific information about swine flu and how to prevent its spread. There have been a number of confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus in the UK and in line with all universities, LJMU is now putting in place contingency and continuity plans should the virus spread.
If you are concerned about the virus and would like guidance and advice about issues relating to the workplace please contact your HR Adviser. Contact details can be accessed via their website.
LJMU staff are advised that for safety and insurance purposes, travel abroad must be agreed by your Dean or PVC. Specific advice and information on travelling abroad is updated daily on the FCO website.
Students with any specific concerns are being directed to central student services helpline on 231 3289.
