Swine flu and mumps

05 May 2009

Information for students.

Students are advised that, given the current outbreak of mumps in the city and the possibility that more cases of swine flu will become known, it is imperative that they are registered with a doctor locally within Liverpool.  Please don’t leave this until you are feeling unwell.

Government information regarding swine flu is being circulated to all homes in the country and students should read this information and be aware of how to react should they start to feel unwell.

Anyone feeling unwell is advised to contact NHS Direct (0845 4647).

Any students having concerns or wishing to inform the university of a confirmed case of swine flu are asked to contact the Student Services central team on 0151 231 3289.
