Staff volunteering evening

The LJMU Volunteering Team invites past and present staff volunteers, along with all interested staff members, to a Summer Events Evening being held at the Everyman Bistro, Hope Street on Tuesday 19 May, 5pm-7pm.
Come along and find out what exciting opportunities you can get involved with over the summer months. There will be free food and drinks on the evening and you will be able to have an informal chat with the team about any volunteering that you are considering doing.
Along with the LJMU Volunteering Team, the community charity North End Writers will be there to discuss what varied volunteering opportunities they have available to you. Some of the other exciting opportunities available this summer are:
- Team Challenges: there are plenty of varied activities for you and your team to take part in
- Staff Community Development Award: set up your own community project and you could receive up to £1000 to help you set it up
- Challenge 500: a fun and exciting team building activity for employees to help raise £500 for The Prince's Trust against the clock
- Ongoing volunteering placements
- Business Action on Homelessness 'Ready for Work' Programme: become a Job Coach for somebody who needs help seeking work.
