Screenwriting success

LJMU’s MA Screenwriting course, delivered at the School of Media, Critical and Creative Arts, has just been granted a three-year Skillset accreditation licence.
Working with industry, Skillset accredits practice–based courses that most effectively provide students with the skills and knowledge that employers need.
The Skillset Summary Report commented that the Masters course is a ‘well structured, industry focussed course providing students with a solid grounding in screenwriting skills.’
The report highlighted many positive aspects of the course, including the high levels of staff commitment, extensive links with local film and television industry in the North West and the ongoing development of the curriculum in line with industry needs.
