Graduate Accelerator Programme

LJMU’s Graduate Development Centre have announced dates for their popular Graduate Accelerator Programme (GAP).
LJMU has been allocated HEFCE funding to deliver employability support for unemployed graduates in Merseyside.
What does GAP involve?
The Graduate Accelerator Programme is a free one-week intensive programme open to recent graduates from all universities. Delivered by experienced trainers, careers advisors and industry professionals, the programme aims to help participants achieve their career goals.
The course includes:
- A unique online employability skills audit
- Gap analysis of skills and attributes
- Development of an action plan
- Specialist advice on finding and applying for jobs
- Practice interview to improve technique
- Insights into occupations and sectors
The programme will run monthly, with 20 places available each month and is based at the University’s Graduate Development Centre, Kingsway House.
Forthcoming course dates:
- 1 to 5 June 2009 (fully booked)
- 29 June to 3 July 2009
- 27 July to 31 July 2009
The course has received considerable interest and the first programme (1 to 5 June) is fully booked. Places are however still available for future dates.
