Two validation training sessions available for staff - new arrangements for programme validation and review, and validating collaborative provision.

New arrangements for programme validation and review

This training session is intended for those who wish to know more about the new arrangements for quality assurance of programmes taught within the University.

This might include programme leaders and those who are keen to act as Internal Advisors during the development of a programme proposal using the new approach to validation or review.

The objective for the session is to enable participants of the programme validation and/or review process to work in a confident and informed manner. 

The intended outcomes are to ensure that participants fully understand:  (inter) national quality framework(s) against which the University is developing its programmes; new LJMU procedures for approval of new and existing programmes.

If you are keen to find out more, develop your understanding, or share your experience of quality assuring programmes using the new approaches, please come along to this session at the Roscoe Boardroom, Egerton Court, 2 Rodney Street, Liverpool

Validating Collaborative Provision

This training session is intended for those who wish to know more about the quality assurance of collaborative partnerships. This might include current and future members, or chairs, of approval panels and programme leaders busy developing a CP proposal.

The objective for the session is to enable participants of the validation process to work in a confident and informed manner. 

The intended outcomes are to ensure that participants fully understand: the context in which the University is developing such partnerships; the procedures that are in place to quality assure such partnerships; the national and international regulatory framework(s) for different types of partnerships and the criteria for approval of collaborative partnerships in the UK and overseas.

If you are keen to find out more, develop your understanding, or share your experience of quality assuring collaborative provision, please come along to this session which will be held in the Roscoe Boardroom, Egerton Court, 2 Rodney Street, Liverpool.
