Section One - Interpreting the Academic Framework Regulations (click here to view)
This section provides commentary on the regulations and provides further detail about pre-assessment board activity, membership and quoracy of the Assessment Board.
Section Two - Related LJMU Policies (click here to view)
This section provides information about related LJMU policies that are relevant to the regulations but that are not part of the Academic Framework regulations. It covers the Board of Study, e-submission, Personal Development Planning and feedback to students.
Section Three - Effective Practice (Click here to view)
This section provides guidance about effective practice in areas covered by the Academic Framework. It has information on programme aims and learning outcomes, curriculum mapping, programme design in a 24 credit module curriculum structure, time on task and use of private study time, developing work related learning and graduate skills, students with long term illness or disability, equality legislation and its impact on the curriculum design, an inclusive curriculum, technology enhanced learning, the use of institutional data to inform practice, key dates for programme teams using a standard academic calendar.

This section provides information about the policy and processes associated with AP(E)L.
