Sponsorship of Research under the Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care
All research conducted under the Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care must have an identified sponsor - "an individual, organisation or group taking responsibility for securing the arrangements to initiate, manage and finance a study".
The following attachment details the circumstances when LJMU would, in principle, expect to act as sponsor for such research, the responsibilities for all parties involved in the research and the expectations for monitoring of research conducted under the Research Governance Framework.
