Interactive Media Design
BA (Hons)
What exactly is Interactive Media Design all about?
Interactive media is overwhelmingly a visually rich medium, combining graphic design, computer technology, video, animation, 3D modelling, motion graphics, sound, and digital games design. New and emerging devices like mobile phones and media players are combining with the Internet and transforming our definitions of media, blurring the boundaries between consumption and production, between information, communication and entertainment, and unsettling the apparent distinctions between spectator, user and producer.
Interactive Media cuts through boundaries and opens up opportunities for those of you who want to create, to express your creativity and produce exciting and engaging digital content.
Interactive Media Design is now set to play a significant role in the North West region with the development of Media City in Salford
