Special Collections and Archives - Collection Management Policy
Library Services has a general Collection Management Policy (PDF) setting out the criteria for acquisition and disposal of stock in the libraries. Special Collections and Archives (SCA) require specialist treatment and the Special Collections and Archives - Collection Management Policy (PDF) addresses the particular needs of these collections. The policy is implemented by the LJMU Archivist in consultation with the Special Collections and Archives Stakeholder Group, whose members have expertise in archives and approve the acquisition of new collections.
