Developing and Managing Partnerships

APT is responsible for guiding all new proposed partnerships and new programmes with an existing partner through the appropriate university panels and committees.

Staff development opportunities at LJMU

APT ensures that all partner staff are fully aware of staff development opportunities available at LJMU. These will be circulated through the Partnership Forum list server. If the development activity is free to LJMU home staff, then it is offered likewise to our partner colleagues.

The role of the Learning Development Unit (LDU) is to:

- Promote, support, develop, co-ordinate and disseminate learning, teaching and assessment innovations and initiatives.
- Manage the strategic implementation of the LJMU Learning, Teaching & Assessment Strategy.
- Provide advice and support for Faculties/Schools/Programmes on all aspects of curriculum development & review.
- Support & co-ordinate LJMU's Centre for Excellence in Leadership & Professional Learning as an institutional 
  teaching & learning initiative.
