Welcome to Liverpool and the Liverpool Student Union!
We are the Students' Union for over 24,000 students at LJMU and we exist to help all of our members love student life. We do this through running sports, clubs, societies and events; campaining with and on behalf of students; and offering support, advice and information.
At LiverpoolSU we are delighted to be able to offer a programme of exciting activities for our visiting Summer Semester students.
The Haigh Building on Maryland Street in our main base, however we also have facilities based around the university campus to cater for student's needs. Our student shop at Byrom Street is open over the summer between 9am and 3.30pm, where you can buy a range of food, drinks and confectionary including; our meal deal of a sandwich, crisps and a drink for £3.39, Pasta King will be available for £2.30 per pot, and a selection of halal sandwiches.
Also based within the Haigh is our Advice Centre, where our two student advisors offer free and confidential advice to all students. If you find yourself facing any academic difficulties whilst at LJMU, our Advice Centre can help you.
If you are interested in sports teams, clubs and societies, volunteering or just want to meet new people, visit the Involve Zone on the first floor where our friendly staff are on hand to tell you all you need to know about the volunteering opportunities and social activities on offer to you!
