Single Module Process

A single module CPD is an award comprising any validated module that has had approval from PPDC to run in this way.  Put simply, a student enrols upon a module and upon successful completion is awarded a Certificate of Professional Development in [module title].

To all intents and purposes, the single module CPD operates in the same way as a standard CPD award except:

* A shortened version of  the Programme Proposal Proforma is required to be submitted to PPDC before any module is run in this way.  Until approval is given for the CPD the module will not be added to the list of approved modules and enrolments or awards will not be conferred.

* Validation of modules designated as contributing to the single module CPD requires contextualisation with specific data items over and above the existing ModCat fields.

* The full tuition fee can be recouped at enrolment, ideally in full and up-front or by provision of means of payment having been charged on a per credit fee basis.
